Early Life and Education 

Chukwudi Patrick Awoke was born 16th March  1998, better known by his stage name San Chuzzi, is a Nigerian Afro Pop singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Ikorodu, Lagos States. San Chuzzi originated from Umueze-koha in Ezza North Local Government Area. He is the fifth born in a family of six, where he had Three brothers and two sisters. San Chuzzi was born and raised in Imota in Ikorodu LGA but has family roots in Ebonyi. He attended Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School, and later enrolled at Ansar-Ud-Deen Senior Grammar School in Imota where He earned his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).

Career

He started his music career doing underground collaborations with his old school artists such as Lazhy, Ludite and B-Don. Ever since he was in High School, San Chuzzi has had aspirations of being an entertainer. He won several rap battles shows in his school arena and this music passion pushed him to record songs while still in high school. After He earned his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) San Chuzzi started his performing arts career as a street jam and carnival dancer. He released many vibe-able singles to his stage name - SAN CHUZZI. In 2015 he released a song titled “Combination” it features Lazhy. The song, which was created by Oluwamix, combines dancehall with rap. According to San Chuzzi, Lazhy and Oluwamix contributed to the song’s composition by pitching ideas to him.

In a 2018 interview with Ikorodu Music PLUG, he said his stage name was derived from his first name but the “SAN” Prefix was given to him by his old school colleagues in Lagos. San Chuzzi has cited Timaya, Sean Tizzle, Fela Kuti, Lucky Dube, Patoranking, Olamide Baddoo, Wizkid, Tuface, and Burnaboy as his key musical influences. In the aforementioned interview with Music PLUG TV, he described his music as a morally inclined variation of Afrobeats and said it references reality issues.
